:: Word from Seth Barnes | Surrender ::

Signs that you haven’t surrendered yet
You can tell the Christians who haven’t made Jesus Lord yet from a distance. You’ll see a number of telltale signs:
   Chaos in their personal life
   They play the victim card
   They struggle to maintain control
They get their feelings hurt and hurt people’s feelings
They tend to make the same mistakes repeatedly
Life tends to revolve around their needs

That’s what happens when you give Lordship lip service.

WR :: Human Trafficking Edition

January 2011 – May 2011
Application Deadline: October 15, 2010
Human trafficking, also known as modern-day slavery, is the fastest-growing criminal industry in the world, based on the recruitment, harboring, and transportation of people solely for the purpose of exploitation. Over 27 million men, women, and children are enslaved in our world today, 80% of which are women, and 50% are children. We believe God has a divine purpose and plan for these individuals and that we get to be a message of truth and hope to them.

Beauty of It All
By Ellen Cuningham

A sea of faces and raised hands; those are the things I saw as I made a full circle and looked around me. As I sat on the top of the mountain, there was no sound but the wind and God’s children praising Him with all of their hearts.

Orphaned by AIDS
By Jillian Hensley
Earlier this week we had the opportunity to talk to big group of kids who are orphans in the village. Afterwards we were approached by a local who told us a couple of the girls really wanted to spend time with us because they are very lonely. We greeted the girls and they asked us to take a picture of them so that we would remember them and pray for them even after we left.

Love and Demons
By Amanda Glenn

In Africa one of the most prominent issues- spiritually speaking- is witchcraft. In my experience here in Tanzania I have witnessed the effects of the Africans’ involvement in witchcraft. My first encounter was a few weeks ago when we were doing door-to-door evangelism.
