Who doesn’t love going places while seeing radical Christ-like things happen? This October you could be going all over the world to see God’s kingdom manifested through your own hands and feet.
If you want to learn more about invading 11 countries in 11 months with the love of Christ this October, view the Race Route.

:: Missions Photo Contest ::
We have several missionaries here at AIM that have an incredible gift
for capturing the heart of an orphan or widow through the lens of their
camera.
And we know that there are more people out there who have the same ability to capture powerful stories with photography.
If this is you, check out our “Kingdom Come”Missions Photo Contest.

The One – Tonya Norman
The numbers can be staggering to think about. On one street alone along Patong Beach, there are 200 open bars and over 1,200 girls working in those bars. These girls are paid small amounts for drink commissions, but make almost all of their money by selling themselves to the male tourists who flock to this infamous destination. These men are known as sex tourists. They are old, they are young, some look sleezy, some look like the guy next door, there are married couples that come, and shockingly enough, many with their young children in tow. This place is unlike anywhere I have ever been. Read more…
Ukraine Ministry – Jessica Edquist
Lugansk is the capital of mail order brides for Ukraine. Everywhere you walk in the city, NO ONE smiles and getting yelled at while walking down the streets is not uncommon. People drink beer and liquor at all hours of the day and it is not odd to see men and women walk to work in the morning with a bottle of brewsky in their hand. ALL of the women dress to the nines, and if you are not in 3-inch heels, tight pants, and perfect make up, then you are going to be out of place. The people of Lugansk seem to be obsessed with image and booze. If you want to talk about an unreached people group, Lugansk Ukraine would be at the top of my list. Read more…
Kingdom Characters – Aaron Darlington
Have you ever met someone who you knew God was going to use to further his kingdom? Patrick is Maasai and full of stories about lions, leopards, and war. He knows the Bible inside and out and can quote scripture all day long. He was a sharp shooter in the army. He can carry burning hot metal pots straight from the fire with his bare hands. He caught a pickpocket in the act and prevented a theft while we were completely oblivious. He left his family (wife and newborn baby) to serve us for three weeks without any expected pay. Read more…
:: Pre- World Race Thoughts ::
We have a lot of missionaries in a season of waiting. It’s that time between training camp and launch that they’re oftentimes vulnerable to spiritual attack. Will Miller does a great job of illustrating that reality for us.
Kumbaya and other Jesus Music – Will Miller
It happens way too often. We have this mountaintop experience with God where the goosebumps are ever present, those of us that can’t sing are belting out songs of praise, and even the conservative ones are lifting their hands. So what’s the problem? Unfortunately, like Moses we are called to walk back down the mountain and into the valley to try and “explain” what just happened. Oftentimes we reenter the valley with our faces still glowing and the goosebumps just settling to find out that the rest of the world hasn’t stopped and Satan is still working just as hard. There are a lot of talented World Racers out there, Racers who have an incredible gift for capturing ministry through the lens of their video camera. While in Romania, Katie Rowland made a video about Gypsy Agape, the ministry that the World Race partnered with this month. To learn more about Gypsy Agape, you can visit their website at www.gypsyagape.com
This month we’re trying to get as many people as possible to Join the Movement. The World Race is easily taking the globe by storm and more and more people are wanting to become a part of it. In an effort to allow that, we’ve been spending the month of May inviting people to Join the Movement of the World Race. Through weekly giveaways and your help, we’re getting the word out there. Free coffee? World Race t-shirts? Yep, they can be yours.
When you sponsor a child it not only provides a hot meal, clean water, discipleship, and basic medical care for the child, it also supports their family by inviting them through the gates of the CarePoint to receive training, discipleship and mentorship.
