Tara’s Mom and family friend arrived tonight. Her Mom is staying with her at the hospital.The results from Tara’s x-ray showed that she doesn’t need surgery! She has a few cracks in her pelvis. One that is more serious than the others, but nothing that requires surgery.
Tomorrow she should be released from the hospital, but we don’t have information from the doctor on how long recovery will be and what it looks like since Tara can’t move right now or sit up. It sounds like recovery will be anywhere between 3 weeks and 3 months before she will be able to walk again. We are all expecting complete healing – thank you for all the prayers!
The family friend has offered their home to Tara and her Mom while she recovers. Tara’s Mom has a return flight to the US 3 weeks from now, but may leave before or after that depending on the answers we get from the doctor tomorrow.
