I’m Not Who I Was by Erica Talley
This past year was the best year of my life; GOD transformed me and changed me from the inside out. God taught me a lot this year (it would take a lot of blogs to list all the lessons). Here are ELEVEN lessons I learned this year:
- Pure joy and peace only come from GOD.
- True love is to give wholeheartedly of yourself.
- Love and music transcend cultural and language barriers.
- Love is a choice.

Our new friend Juvencioby Dan and Becky Haverkos
Our first Sunday in Vilanculos, Daniel and I sat outside the church before service and talked to people who were walking by. A young boy sat with us for a while on a break from his daily work of selling hard-boiled eggs. At thirteen years old Juvencio wakes up before 6am each morning and must sell each of the two dozen eggs to passerbyers on the street before heading to school at noon.
