Recently in India, Kaylynn
Loveless
and her team on A Squad prayed for a deaf and mute woman to
hear and speak… and she did!

My team circled around her and asked God to heal this beautiful
lady who was crying out to him. After saying a short prayer our translator
Agape asked her if she could hear.

Cody
O’Donnell
, from X squad, shared on his blog about a day during
door-to-door evangelism in Kenya when he met a woman who at first didn’t want
anything to do with his team.

She asked Jesus into her heart that day and we prayed with her.
We invited her to church and three days later she came.  After the
service, she told us her full story.  She told us how she had used her
last 250 schillings to purchase poison in order to kill her 3 children and
herself.  She was planning to do it the day we came to visit her.
She was crying and was so grateful that we had shared Jesus with her.

Read about how this was perfect timing for
the team here.

The Race is about brokenness and change.  Renee
Durham
, B Squad, is getting wrecked after a visit to a shack home in
Honduras.  Now 10 days after leaving the country, her mind still can’t
shake what happened in her the day she went to the shanty home.

These kids I love live in a place people call hell.  And they
are some of the sweetest, kindest, purest hearts I know.  And I’m actually here.  This is
real.  No matter what I said to myself or how much I took in my
surroundings, I couldn’t process it.  Ten days and one country later, our
visit is still on my mind, and I still can’t swallow the reality or reconcile
the numbness in my heart.

about how she’s being led to brokenness for God.
