If you happen to be in Atlanta this week, keep your eye out for crowds of young adults with giant backpacks, head lamps, and Passports in tow. Our fantastic Q, R, S, and T Squads are getting ready to go to the nations. They might look a little something like this:
Looks kind of like a superhero, right? It makes sense to us, that's for sure. These Racers amaze us. They're giving up everything that's familiar, everything that's comfortable, and everything that the world says makes sense to go on an adventure with the Lord. To serve him in some of the darkest corners of the planet. To live selflessly, sacrificing a year of their lives to bring hope and light to the nations. And because of that, they're our heroes. And not just Q, R, S, and T Squads either – all our Racers blow us away.
Pray for them this week as it will be one of the most exciting, scary weeks of their lives. Pray strength, hope, naps on the plane, health, hydration, courage, and remembrance of passports. We're sure their parents will thank you.
