Many of you know by now that an 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck northeastern Japan near Sendai city, which has triggered a tsunami alert for the Pacific region, Hawaii and the U.S. west coast.  And just recently, another earthquake (6.6 magnitude) has struck Nagano prefecture in Japan, some 100 miles away from the first one.

All current World Race squads – including those that have been in Asia – are all safe in their respective ministry locations for the month.
Stay apprised of earthquake and tsunami news on the New York Times and on CNN.
Please pray for Japan and other areas that might be affected by the resulting tsunamis.
