It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Are you singing a Christmas song in your head now? You’re welcome.
But guess what? Here at the World Race, we don’t have to wait for December for our favorite time of year to come!
Next Monday is November 11th – 11/11. As you know, we’re fond of the number 11 around here. It represents the number of months Racers spend on the mission field, the number of amazing new countries they get to explore, the number of times God changes their hearts as they fall in love with his people around the world.
Our Racers already love 11/11 – every year many of them share stories, host fundraising events, and tell people about the incredible things they’re doing on the Race.
But this year we want to invite everyone to be part of World Race Day. On this November 11th, everyone is a World Racer – whether you’re a WR parent, a family member, an alumnus, a friend of a Racer, a supporter of a World Racer, a World Race ministry partner, a fan of the Race, a grandparent of a World Racer, or someone who loves the stories of change that come from the Race everyday – YOU are invited!
You’re invited to celebrate with us on 11/11 because the World Race is made up of all of us. It takes the parents, family, friends, grandparents, supporters, ministry contacts, fans, and cheerleaders to fund, pray for, encourage, and send our Racers to the nations.
Their stories are your stories. They are God’s stories. They are OUR stories.
So this 11/11, join us for World Race Day and find out how you can celebrate being an essential part of the work God’s doing to further his kingdom around the world.
