8:34 am–Bags packed and on the porch of the Adrift hostel in Jinja where we stayed while we rafted the Nile.

9:30–I head down to the common area to make a breakfast of champions. (Little did I know, this would be the only thing I eat for the next 24 hours.)

10:15–Kelly gets a call that our bus is going to be a couple of hours late to pick us up. Okay TIA.
11:44–People entertain themselves playing cards still waiting for the bus.

12:17–I take a photo of the river…still waiting for the bus.

2:31–Becca is reading…still waiting for the bus.

Let me cut to the chase. We waited for the bus till 6:30.

8:48–Renee and I are just chillin, chatting away. Gettin cozy in our first class seats.

11:46–We get to the border of Uganda and Kenya. Poor Mickey also realizes his bag got stolen. There at the boarder, everyone has to take all their stuff off the bus so we can search for Mickey’s bag.

12:05 am–Squad leaders notify the police that Mickey’s bag was stolen so they again ask everyone to get off the bus so they can do another search. They also ask Mickey to search all of our belongings as we enter the bus. Why? To make sure we didn’t take it…but of course Mickey already knew that.

12:45–We are on our way. Kenya/ Tanzania border here we come! Now some sleep time.

6:56–Good morning Kenya! I kept waking up on the bus every hour or so trying to switch positions. There are only so many “bus seat” positions one can sleep in.

11:09 pm–Dan is having a quaint little time reading away, passing the time.

12:13–Renee and I, still chillin.

1:04–I take this photo with Banko. Banko, your eyes are closed.

4:28–All I have been eating for the past day is this same granola, and I’m starting to get hungry.

5:30–We finally arrive in Moshi, Tanzania!!! Thanks B Squad for the amazing travel days together!!
