I spent this last week back in my hometown of Henning, MN. I went back to talk to my church family about The World Race, and to ask for prayer support. I went into it with doubts thinking that the little town of Henning would be willing and wanting for me to do well, but in a hard spot to support me financially. I had a goal in my mind of raising $1000, but thought that realistically $500 would be what I would be able to do. Boy did God have a surprise in for me. The little towns of Henning and Vining managed to get me close to $2500 for my World Race mission trip. The donations came from people who have known me my entire life to those that have known me only a short while or barely at all.
Before leaving to Henning I was letting doubts flood my mind. I was scared that I would not have the funds raised to attend training camp in May. I was scared about many things. I still have worries about where some things are going to come from. But I now know that what the World Race administration has been telling me is true. God WILL provide for me for this trip. He knows my needs and he will provide. Thank You Lord, and thank you Henning, and Vining.
