Here you are…you are on this site possibly wondering, "What is the World Race? Is this anything like the Amazing Race reality TV show?" Yes I will be traveling around the world for 11 months, yeah I will be giving up my job, my college education, and my nice comfy bed. Yes the World Race does look amazing but there is one thing that the Amazing Race doesn't have….JESUS! Here's what the World Race is…I get to go around the world with a team of other believers for a year, teaching the gospel, raising churches, and reaching out to those who need Jesus and those who are in need of help such as orphans and widows . Tell me what could be more amazing than that?!
The Lord has called me on a mission, to leave behind the selfish life I've been living and start a new life of following Him wherever he leads me. I have finally realized that this is NOT my life, but that my life was bought with a price…God's one and only son. Since this life is His I'm going to use it like he would have me use it! I'm living on borrowed time! God has told me it's time to get out and spread the news to this hungry and suffering world. If I lead just one person to Christ over these 11 months, that's one more person who can spread the word in their country. With much prayer and determination, this World Race could start a spiritual wildfire that could spread throughout an entire nation.
