I am so excited to be in Honduras this month. God is doing amazing things at Open Door Ministries (ODM). ODM is a non-profit here in Tocoa, Honduras that has an orphanage with younger children, a girls home with teenaged girls, and a feeding station. ODM is underfunded and yet manages with Gods hand leading the way to feed the 50+ children in its homes 3 balanced meals a day, and one meal a day at the feeding station for hundreds more children. Lauren a native of Orlando, Florida lives here in Honduras, with her husband a native and their young son and 10 year old daughter. She has the job of about 5 people to make sure all the grocery shopping for all three ministries is done, children make it to their doctors appointments, while also managing the 'tias' for each house. Their is so much need here in Honduras please keep Open Door Ministries in your prayers and lift them up constantly. I will be doing a couple of blogs this month profiling selct children from the orphanage.
