I have just finished the book “God’s Smuggler” by Brother Andrew. WOW! The faith of that man was impressive. Heading behind the Iron Curtain in Communist Europe of the 1950s with contraband Bibles, he would always leave a couple on the front seat of his car as a reminder to himself that it was God making “seeing eyes blind” and not of his own cleverness that allowed him to pass across the borders with hundreds and hundreds of illegal Bibles. While reading this book and seeing God honor the faith of squad mates. I realized that I needed to have more faith and trust in God. He is our Father and promises to provide all of our needs after all.

Then one day I was at the mall trying to find a place where I could make photocopies of my entire team’s driver’s licenses. I was up and down all five floors of the mall several times. Every store I went into told me that there was no place to get a photo copy made. I was frustrated and about to give up and then I was reminded how Brother Andrew always prayed and trusted God to handle his needs. So walking down the hallway almost back to my teammate using Wi-Fi, I said quietly “Jesus, you know we need these photocopies made before lunch so we can get them to the logistics team today. I trust that you are going to show me where to get photocopies made before I reach Cheyenne. In Jesus’ name Amen” Almost immediately after saying Amen I looked to my right and saw a cellphone store that just happened to have a photocopier. I smiled and walked over. The saleslady happily copied all seven of the licenses front and back. When I tried to pay her she just smiled and said “For Free”.
Although it may seem like a small miracle I am thankful that Jesus came through and provided that small need to me. It is a reminder that He will always provide for his children no matter the size or the cost of their needs.

A quick fundraising update. God has brought my account down to only needing $1400 more. He did it through all of you! And I am going to continue to trust that God will have me fully funded before the end of the short extension granted to me by the staff at AIM.
