**Sorry I have behind in blogs, but here is another one. Enjoy! **

This month my team and I are in Candelaria, Nicaragua. It’s about 2 hours from the main capital Managua. We are at a ministry called New Song. They are a church plant designed to educate and train more pastors to minister to the remote areas of Nicaragua.  They run a medical/dental clinic, disaster relief center, several community outreaches (movie nights, holiday fiestas, etc).

Our first day here, we get there and we talk with our contacts and learn what we are going to be doing throughout the month. Later that night they have Youth group and the kids come and worship and hear a teaching by usually one of our contacts here Diego, Lisa or Barbara. After this we walk outside and we met a woman named Rosa.
Rosa is a strong woman of God. She is your prayer warrior, who will pray for you and go to war for you in prayer. She told us that she was up at 3 a.m. the day we arrived in Nicaragua praying for us. She is a special woman, someone who doesn’t even know us, will spend time in prayer for us. At 3 in the morning! I am usually knocked out.

Now Rosa is a very special woman. She is 52 years old, married with 8 kids. Loves them dearly. A couple of years ago she had a stroke and the whole right side was paralyzed. She gained movement in her arm and leg, but still gets pain from time to time. Also the right side of her face has limited movement. Even though she has pain within her body, she has not lost her faith and continues to Love the Lord whole heartily. One of her ministries that she does is faithfully and continually is house visits. She visits those around her neighborhood who are sick to those. The following week after we arrived a few of us got the chance to do that with her. We visited 6 different homes, and prayed over each of them. It was such a blast. Just walking into the homes of the people in Candelaria and visiting them and praying over them. When we did that I knew exactly what my passion is, and it is exactly that. I am to visit the sick and pray over them, to just hear their story and show them that they are loved. That we have a faithful God, who will never leave us nor forsake us.

What do I mean by strong woman of God and of great faith? Well here is a story that happened to her family, and how she conquered.
10 years ago, Rosa’s daughter Sandra was outside and the next door neighbors were stealing power from the power lines. While doing that, one of the live wires were hanging and her daughter Sandra grabbed a hold of it and she electrocuted herself  and died. Rosa being the strong woman she is, started praying and was telling God that he was not going to take her daughter this soon. So here she is, this woman praying over her daughter believing that God will revive her daughter. While she has been pronounced dead, Rosa didn’t believe it and prayed non-stop. Well she prayed for 5 hours straight and after the 5th hour her daughter woke up. Whoa!!! That is amazing faith. After hearing that story, I kind of pondered on it for a while and asked myself… Is my faith that big that nothing could hold me back? If I was tested like that, would I be able to keep going or would I give up?
Questions that run through your mind, and I would like to think my faith is that big. I wouldn’t know until I encounter something of that magnitude. Right now God is definitely working on all areas of my life.  A life that may seem incomprehensible but being in tune to Jesus every bit it will be comprehensible.

Love ya and miss you all!

Praying for you this Holiday season and hope you had an amazing Christmas and a great New Years!

Thank you to all who have been supporting me, so I can share stories like this one.
