Hey Friends,
just to catch everyone up on what’s going on in my life. Back in November of 2019, I felt the Lord call me to go on the World Race. In case you don’t know by now, the World Race is an 11 month 11 country mission trip held by Adventures In Missions. I wasn’t really sure on the route I should go on, so I applied and just hoped for the best. After being accepted and had a few conversations with the AIM Staff we decided to go with the October route which was traveling to Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia. This route sounded incredible, however, I was still a little unsettled about it. I was just going to have to trust the Lord that this was the route he had for me.
Sometime early August we received an email update from Adventures in Missions saying due to Covid we will not be launching internationally in October. Even though this news was a little hard to hear, I felt the Lord’s hand over it.
My squad and I were presented with a few contingency plans for us to choose from.
Option 1: Start the October route stateside with the possibility of launching internationally in January.
Option 2: Defer your launch date until January 2021 with a new route
Option 3: Defer your launch date until August 2021 with a new route
Without hesitation a felt that I was supposed to defer to January.
This would mean a new route and a new team. My new route is Central America (starting in Costa Rica), Southeast Asia (starting in Thailand), Southern Asia (starting in India), and Southern Africa (starting in eSwatini)
My new squad is now H Squad. It consists of people from all different squads and people from all over America!
I recently had the opportunity to meet them all and all I can say is that they are all incredible. Check us out!
