To all who supported my trip and joined in on God’s dream with me this year, I want to say a huge thank you! Actually, I want to say 11 thank yous:
- Thank you for the beauty I experienced in Australia from Kangaroos prancing around a forest to serving alongside volunteers at a local humanitarian shelter, providing meals for the homeless.
- Thank you for the smiles on the faces of Indonesian children that I saw every day I taught English and played soccer with them.
- Thank you for the opportunity to share the love of Christ and leave a Bible with a chef I became friends with in Sri Lanka.
- Thank you for the conversation I had with a man in an Indian red-light district who never heard the Gospel before.
- Thank you for a month of growth in adaptability and trust in Nepal.
- Thank you for the impossible discovery of a Christian owned, Christ centered coffee shop in China after being escorted there by oblivious SWAT police.
- Thank you for the many laughs and heart to hearts I shared with the Kazakh people.
- Thank you for the perfectly timed encounter with two European college students in a Kyrgyzstan yurt camp who were searching for truth.
- Thank you for the hours of prayer I was honored to share with brothers and sisters living out the Great Commission in Turkey.
- Thank you for the endurance and perspective gained from miles of hiking and days of relationship building with pilgrims on the Camino De Santiago in Spain.
- Thank you for the many tea times I had with new lifelong friends gained in Morocco.
Thank you for making this entire year of growing personally, gaining valuable relationships, and sharing the truth of Jesus with people across the world possible and being part of it. I’m so grateful for the time I’ve had on the race and am excited for what’s next in continuing my part to accomplish and fulfill God’s dream.
Matthew 28:18-20
“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All Authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
