Here I am. One week from Training Camp and in the midst of all the business that comes with preparing to leave, fundraising, finishing up school and finishing up work. If I’m honest, I’ve allowed my schedule and focus to shift from the whole reason I am doing this many times over the past months. I think it’s good to be challenged, but it can be dangerous if we do more or put more on our plate than God is leading us to. That being said, I have been finding surprising refreshment this week by coming back to letting it ALL go and surrendering all of my efforts to Jesus. His word says that apart from him we can do nothing and I very strongly feel that in my life! This is a bit unorganized and really quick, but I think it fits my personality (20 million things going on in my mind at once) and is the best way to give a quick update on where I’m at! This Sunday I have a very fun fundraising event and would love for you to come if you can! It will be at 5 PM and the proceeds will help me make my first fundraising goal before Training Camp starts!
