Hello Everyone!!!!
This could be a confusing first blog if you are unaware of my story!! So here’s a little update of the last few months of my life! I recently felt a calling to go on a long term mission trip, It just so happens that Africa was the place for me. Ive always told friends and family members that I would one day end up in Africa, and here it is- I leave in under 60 days for a 3 month mission trip to 3 different countries in Africa.
I get to spend 3 months of my life with no distractions and get to focus my days on Jesus!
Since our blogs went live I’ve really wanted to post something but have really been struggling with what to write, so I just want to share how great and faithful God is. When I first got accepted into this program I was really worried about raising the $6,400 required to go on this trip, so worried that I didn’t even really wanna tell people how much I needed. A few months later I’m over 50% funded… 50% funded.. Why yes I still have a ways to go but I have so much faith in my God that he will provide those funds for me. (As he has already done so much)
I really can’t believe I leave in under 60 days, I’ve been watching tons of videos of past racers and just have been getting super excited. My team and I have a group message and have been talking a bunch and learning so much about eachother. Learning things like who can play what instruments and who can cook (none of us) just makes me so ready to be out there on the field with my team. We are going to do great things with each other and I cannot wait to watch us all grow together!!!
