“So… what is it that you’ll be doing exactly?”
I have probably heard this question once every day since I decided to go on the World Race. Don’t get me wrong, it gets better answering the question every time. What I want to do in this blog is answer this for everyone who may not know what a mission trip looks like visually.
I have talked with many about this mission trip. I have answered questions. It has opened discussions, for believers and non-believers. God works in mysterious ways. All I’ve done is decide to go on this mission trip and I have been able to disciple to hundreds already. I cannot wait to see how many I can reach as this adventure moves forward. It may have only been a one-minute conversation with some, but it was an opportunity to talk about Jesus’ love for us.
Many have asked questions about what my day-to-day will look like. Some have asked where I will be going in the countries on our list (Spain, Morocco, Jordan, Israel, Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and China for those that don’t know). Some have asked if I fear for my life. The answer is, I don’t know. That’s the beauty of following God’s calling. He doesn’t ask us to debate or overthink, He only wants us to say yes. If it’s on your heart, it’s there for a reason, GO! Let the Holy Spirit lead you where your trust is without borders.
A man plans his course. But the Lord determines his steps. Proverbs 16:9
Now to the visual. This is so well put together. It is a former Racer who documented what the journey looks like. I hope to make a video just like this. This video is LOVE. This video is DISCIPLESHIP. This video is COMMUNITY. This video is what a MISSION TRIP looks like. To everyone that has asked, here is your answer:
