Hey everyone!
I’m 23 and recently graduated with a degree in Social Work from Troy University!
I have lived in AL and FL all of my life. I’m quite the fan of sports, the outdoors, music, graduating, and Nickel Creek. I’ve played soccer all of my life and hope I have the chance to play some while on the World Race. Chris Thile of Nickel Creek inspired me to play the mandolin, and I’ve been playing for about seven years now. My family has a Boston Terrier named Cameron, after Cameron Indoor Stadium where Duke plays basketball! He’s a pretty loyal friend of mine.

A little about my family….My parents are a huge blessing in my life! My dad is a minister, and is one of the most caring men I know. His understanding of the Scriptures amazes me. And I pray that I can be as faithful to our Father as he is. My mom is incredible! Quick to listen, and quick to serve. Her heart is truly beautiful! I love her! I have one older brother who I look up to in every way that a brother can. He’s been exactly who an older brother should be, all of my life. Thanks Kyle! His wife Brittney has been such a blessing to our family! She’s great, and it’s going to be tough to leave them all for 11 months.

The World Race is an opportunity of a lifetime! When I first felt the call to go into overseas missions, I tried to argue with God. I doubted everything He revealed to me, and gave every excuse I could think of until I finally surrendered….then I felt the peace that only God can provide! I like the verse from Mark 3:13. Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.

Psalm 37:5 & 6 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
