The biggest thing that has happened in the last couple of weeks is that we had team changes in Phuket. I'm no longer on Tzadik 58, but am now on team Ascend the Hill! It was definitely hard to say goodbye to my old team because we really grew close and have a lot of great stories together. I still feel like we're family, but I am excited about what my new team has in store. My team leader is Chip Carnes, who also happens to be a big UK fan, which I'm really excited about with basketball season starting in about a month!! We are joined by two girls from North Carolina, Amanda Kerr and Alison Gray along with GaNene Edwards from Ohio and Kaitlyn Wolff from Utah. It's basically an all-star lineup if you ask me!
Our team name is based on Psalm 24 where it asks, "Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?" I really feel like we are going to spur each other on in our walks with Christ and are really going to grow as a result!
In Phuket, our first day together as a team was spent riding mopeds around the island that we rented for $5. We DEFINITELY made some memories and had so much fun. Below are some pictures from that day.
