What up! If you are reading this you know I am Tyler Thrasher.
I was born and raised in Gainesville, Ga. I am 20 years of age. I am very family oriented. My family is a lot closer nit than most families. I see most of my cousins several times a month. I grew up in a small Baptist church. I came to know the Lord as my savior when I was 9 years old. I don’t remember the specific date but it was a sunny August day. I enjoy the simple things in life. My favorite hobby would be rock climbing, mainly indoor. I love to eat! The food is going to be a big challenge for me on the race. My favorite food is salsa. If you wanted to know how much I eat in a week the figure would be in lbs. I have recently started making my own, and it is delicious! My favorite actual food would be sushi. I guess everyone has a crazy dream of some sort. Mine would be coast to coast by car in under 28hrs. I love to drive!
After high school I opted out of going to college and went to work. It wasn’t really anything new to me and I knew that I was meant for something more. I thought it may be college, but growing up I never thought that was the thing for me. I wasn’t too smart and I just barely scraped by in school. Well after a year of working I was fed up with the routine and decided to give college a try. I got a place with my two best friends. After a semester I decided that I would major in engineering. It was flat out just too much math for me. So halfway through my second semester I was called into the mission field. I will share more about that in another post.
