So I wanted to give you a quick
update about what Team Jubilee has been up to for the last week or so and what
we will be doing this coming month.  For
the last couple of weeks we have done a mixture of things between working with
the women at Jubilee, doing manual labor, and leading worship services.  Our time at Jubilee ended up being split
between ministering to the women and helping prepare the way for other
missionaries to come do the same by helping fix up a house that will house them
in the future.  Most of our weeks would
alternate between these two locations.
On Saturday, we would generally have the day off to catch up on sleep,
blog, and enjoy Romania among the many other things we might find do.  Every Sunday we would go to church and
generally lead most if not the whole service.
Because of this I have had the opportunity to lead a lot of worship
lately, which has been sweet.  Yesterday,
however, was actually our last day working with Jubilee.  It was sad to leave because it seemed like we
were just starting to really connect with the women, but I have come to the
realization that this is the life of a World Racer.  Every month we will have to say goodbye to
the ministry and the people we have grown to love while we are there.

As we speak my team is preparing
for our squad of 53 to arrive here at Casa Shalom this weekend.  We will be getting together to check-in with
our squad leaders and debrief this month with each other before all of the
teams head to their respective ministry sites for the next month.   Just as Team Jubilee was the only team in
Romania this month, we will be flip flopping with the other teams and will be
the only team in Ukraine this coming month.
We will be working with a ministry called Jeremiah’s Hope which is
located about an hour or so outside of Kiev (the capital).   Jeremiah’s Hope runs camps for at risk youth
and we will be jumping in and helping around the camp and ministering to these
kids.  I am excited to get to work with
the kids!  A quick disclaimer: I will not
have internet access at this location.
This means there will be little communication with the outside
world.  I apologize ahead of time for a
lack of blogs or communication.  Please
continue to send me messages because it is soooo good to hear from all of you,
it might just be awhile before I get back with you.   Google
Jeremiah’s Hope Ukraine or check team Shofar’s blogs, they were there this past
month and know way more about what we’ll be doing than I do.  Here are a few pictures from this past month!
Enjoy!
