We made it to Da Nang, Vietnam! Vietnam is a beautiful country. The people are so sweet and hospitable. We had a great debrief in Ho Chi Minh City with the squad. Four teams are stationed in Da Nang this month. The bus ride from Ho Chi Minh to Da Nang was 25 hours . I took melatonin and was out!!
I posted a link to a short video of be day this past week of ministry. We went on a prayer walk to Marble Mountain. After Australia the Lord has taught me a lot about how ministry can look different each day. I also read a blog recently and the writer stated it perfectly.
"Believe that you have been commissioned by God and entrusted to do whatever He puts in front of you with a smile on your face, and constantly remind yourself that a sense of emotional, personal satisfaction in your work is actually completely irrelevant. We are not called to feel good about our “final product” at the end of the month in any country; we are called to be faithful and obedient to being the piece He asked us to be in His bigger picture.” – Unknown blogger.
That's good stuff. I just wanted to encourage you. You are Beloved by our Heavenly Father and he commissioned you to bring His Kingdom. So next time you are just walking you dog, drinking coffee in Starbucks, in your class room, or buying groceries know that you are the church and you can change the environment around you. Just pray for people as you walk by them; declare things in the Spirit. Have faith in the power of prayer!! Love you all!
