I was in Nepal in February. Nepal is a jewel among the nations an absolutely gorgeous Country!

Our second day in Nepal we took a van from Kathmandu to the Tibetan border! It happened to be a Sunday so we decided to worship our Savior by jumping off a bridge. It was one of the most amazing and exhilarating moments of my life. The bridge is 160 meters (530 feet) over this beautiful canyon.

Jumping off that bridge, not once but twice, was really a worshipful experience for me. I got up to the edge of the bridge and had to just jump without thinking. I had full trust in the bungee cord that was wrapped around my ankles. In that moment God said to me, "You trust a little cord. How much more should you trust Me with your life?" I remember being upside down feeling like I was going to pass out because all the blood was rushing to my head as I was thinking, "Jesus you care for me so much!" Sometimes God says jump… but I am scared; my mind runs rampant with thoughts of possible outcomes. I have to trust Him that even after a seven-second free fall that He will catch me.

Jesus created all things and in Him all things hold together. He loved us so much that He reconciled us and declares us not guilty. That is the hope we can have in the Gospel. That is why we are blameless before our Creator and that is why we can jump.

If Jesus is asking you to jump today… Do it! Your Creator is holding you by a bungee cord!

I have conquered one of the highest canyon swings in the world, and a bungee that is in the top ten in the world.

I was so blessed to have this opportunity. Thank you for making this trip possible so I could do random things like this on my off days.

Shalom
