I’m pumped! I really
am. I love to see God work, and we have a perfect opportunity before us to watch God show up in cool ways!

I love my team. It
has been truly amazing working with everyone of them, and I’ve been excited to
see how they have each grown over the past month and a half. We are beginning
to grow into a safe family.

Alissa has been pushing the team to die to
ourselves each day. This is an incredibly difficult thing to actually do. It’s
easy to say, but the opposite of what we naturally want to do. She also truly believes that she has authority given to
her by Christ Jesus, and she lives her life in response to that confidence. She
challenges the rest of us to approach

Angela is an incredible example of relying on
God for everything. She wakes up each day and gives the day to Him. She has
struggled here at times, but she is stepping out in faith into the powerful
arms of God. I’m trying to understand and work towards that same kind of
reliance on God. I have to move past relying on my own strength and learn to
rely on the strength of God.

Ashley is learning that what God wants to teach
her may not be exactly what she expected to learn on the Race. Some of her
expectations haven’t been met, but God has better plans and wants her to learn
so much more. She is all in, all the time. That kind of attitude pushes the
rest of us to give more.

Kris is full of grace and peace. She is able to
turn away anger through her gentleness. People are willing to listen to what
she has to say because she comes to them with true love. She has been learning
to listen when God speaks and to be bold in proclaiming the Words she receives.

Nathan said at the beginning of the trip that
one thing he wanted to work on was prayer. That was definitely not a flippant
comment on his part. It has been awesome to see how he now approaches the
Throne of God! He prays with authority by calling out the promises of God. He
listens to what God is saying and responds in accordance. He has grown
tremendously as our leader and as a leader for the entire squad.

When I’m surrounded
by great people like this, I can’t help
but be excited! It forces me to strive
for more as well. It forces me to a place of reliance
on God, to deny my own desires, to pray with expectance and listen to what God is saying, and to be all in.

With
that being said, we have an
opportunity at hand. We have a chance to bless Kris through
financial support that will enable her to continue to grow into who God wants
her to be, a
committed servant of Christ Jesus. She desires to
do the will of God more than anything else. That’s why she is here. It would be
easier for her to be at home with her family and boyfriend, going to school
like we are told we are supposed to do, but that’s not what she chose. She
chose to listen to God and follow His command.

I was
talking to Kris the other night and I was telling her some stories about how
God provided financially. The more I talked about it the more animated I got!
It was so much fun to just recall all the great ways that God provided! And I
get super pumped looking forward to watching how God will provide for Kris!
She is in need of about $5500 to be
fully funded.
So I ask that you please
prayerfully consider supporting her
. She struggles at times with being fully engaged here
due to this need, and we all need her fully here.

Thank you all so
much for the way you have blessed me through all your support financially,
prayerfully, and just being there for me! Please consider being a blessing to
Kris as well. God is going to do great things through her! There is no doubt in
my mind she is exactly where God wants her to be!
