Praise God for who He is and all He has done! As some of you may already know, I’m fully funded for The Race!! God provided the $15,000 in only a few short months! It’s great to have that taken care of completely before I leave on the race. I want to thank each of you for the generosity and faithfulness that you showed me. I’ve been blessed beyond explanation, and I truly believe that God will honor and bless your cheerful giving!
I’ve already heard stories about how God has blessed several of you through your giving. God loves a cheerful giver, and He promises that our generosity will result in a great return for God’s kingdom (1 Corinthians 9). This promise is not a reference only to monetary giving. The same return is possible through giving of time in prayer. I thank those of you who have been praying for me and have promised to do so! I do ask that you continue to partner with me in prayer. While my financial support raising is complete, my need for prayer support continues.
A few specific prayer requests:
- Safety as our squad leaves (June 16th!)
- Boldness and courage
- Strength as we leave our families and almost everything familiar
- God’s love will fill us up so that we may pour it out on the people
- That God will prepare our hearts for what he ahs in store for us
- The hearts of the people we will encounter on the Race
