Around 15 years ago I lost my best friend and hero, My uncle John. I have spent countless nights awake crying even to this day missing him and wishing he was still here with us but I know God took him for a reason. He has had an impact on my life even when I was still in my moms stomach. He was a huge baseball fan and my mom would tell me that he would always whisper to her stomach " bat left throw right" he thought it was cool if you batted left and threw right.. Well you guessed it I bat left and throw right whether its a coincidence or not its still kinda cool. When he left us to be with the Lord it was extremely hard on me and it left a gaping hole in my heart. When playing baseball growing up after I had a big game I would always wonder to myself if John was watching and cheering me on. Lately John has been on my heart a lot and I know its selfish but I always asked God if I could just see and talk to him one more time… Well God answered my prayer yesterday. I know this sounds crazy but it was the most wonderful thing in the world. Yesterday I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and when they put me under I saw my hero, he was wearing a white robe and walked up to me and gave me a big hug and said " how i've missed you." He proceeded to tell me how proud and happy him and Jesus were of me for taking the next step in my faith and going on the World Race and said I know you have been worrying and stressing about getting enough funds but don't worry you will be completely funded. Then he answered the biggest question that has been burning my heart to know since I was a little kid "did he ever watch me play baseball?" He told me that he never missed a game and would go crazy every time I hit a home run, we proceeded to talk about his wife and kids and told me to tell them he loved and missed them. Then just like that it was over, I woke up wishing I had more time but immediately prayed and thanked God for allowing me to see my uncle and speak through him to let me know not to worry and stress about funding that GOD will provide!!!
