I have a little story to tell everyone. It's gotten me very discouraged and it's also got a little humor in it. Here goes…
Once we wrote our support letter, I decided I would print it off at school. We get as many free prints as long as we send them to central printing which means a little bit of a wait, but its worth it. The first time I went to school to get it printed, I waited the two hours to pick it up studying. They didn't come after the two hours; I figured I missed the cut off point, so i decided to go home and come back. Ty took me back to school later that night. No prints. Next morning I went to school and thought I'd run by before class. I looked and looked. Now I've got to add some background.
This summer the central printer bins were moved from the library to the student center. Before the bins were labled alphabetically, A, B, C… Now they are labeled with two letters Aa-Ae, Af-Ai, etc. I assumed they were by first and second letters of the last name. Makes sense right…at least that's where I looked the first three times. I found out that morning that the bins were going by first letter of the last name then first letter of the first name. After this piece of advice from a fellow student, I got all my prints except for the fact that there was only one copy of the support letter rather than the amount I had ordered.
To fix this blunder, I copied and pasted the letter multiple times in the same document figuring that they don't allow copies. Another side note, the central printers have never printed double sided automatically. I printed my document, but when I came back to get the prints, they were double sided. This time I made sure they printed on one side. I printed them only to find a pink slip in my box. It said I had printed the same document too many times. I guess we are going to print them ourselves…
