Signs, signs, and more signs…all over our living room we have drying signs. They are for our garage sale this weekend!! Check out our craigslist add here. Come on over if you are nearby. We have gone through our apartment and gotten a lot of stuff from my mom's and her neighbors to raise some money for the sleeping bag, immunizations, and what's leftover to our fundraising pot.  The joy of doing a garage sale.  It is so much more work than it really should be.  You would think, "Oh, have a garage sale, put stuff on the lawn ,and make some money. "  There are a few issues that prevented us from making it that simple. One, we need a lot of money.  Including pledged money, we are right around $11,000, meaning we still need 20,000 more. (I can't wait to see how God provides that!!) There is issue number one–we need a lot of stuff so we can make a buck.  Issue number two, my mom has not gotten rid of anything in the past six years (since we moved down to Atlanta), so we have accumulated a lot of shall I say "stuff".  Molly, my mom, and I have gone through it all and now have three garages full of things to sell.  Today I went up to start organizing stuff and I was just praying the whole time about how I hope God uses the signs to bring a lot of people by and not just any people, but the right people who want our stuff. Almost as much as I want to make money , I want to get rid of everything.  Please be praying that we are able to sell as well as plant seeds (we will have our magnets and information about the race at the garage sale), so again please pray.

After organizing everything I headed back to Atlanta to cook dinner for my wonderful wife. Little side note, I really enjoy being married to this woman; she is so amazing and brings so much joy to my life.  I cannot wait to travel the world and serve the Lord with her at my side.  Back to my drive home though. I began to think about the trip. This past weekend, we were asked if we were "ready" to go.  First off, the more I thought about it the more I realized I haven't had time to think about these things.  Everyday I have a new to-do list of gear to order or doctors appointments to make or other things for the race.  There always seems to be something to do, to fundraise, or to plan for the trip.  It is almost sad because I have almost no time to be excited about the trip.  It is also a blessing that I lost my main job, because I do not know how I would do all this stuff if I was working full time.  There is a lot of stuff to balance and get done, but I can't wait for that trip to the Atlanta airport in January, when our families say good bye, and Molly and I step into the next chapter of our lives to dive deep into the world God has made and the people he loves so dear.

Finally, to poll all of our awesome blog readers: we are looking for some advice about a few  things and would love your responses. Molly and I are trying to pick out a video camera. All we know is we want an HD and we do not like the flip style cameras. Any suggestions would be absolutely fantastic.  Also, should we get a kindle or not?  Please let us know what you think.  Thanks again to all of you who support us both financially and spiritually. We are so blessed to have all of you in our lives.
