We have been so worn out from this past weekend. The garage sale was a great success; we got rid of a lot of stuff and a whole bunch more boxes are being picked up by Atlanta Mission this coming week. We also were able to raise money  to help with getting ready for the World Race. It feels really good to get rid of things. I never realized how much excess I had in our little apartment until we decided to do this garage sale. As you can see on the right we had all of our magnets out for people to pick up and a letter to give out about our trip. It was awesome to be able to share with all kinds of people what we have decided to do in the next year and receive their advice.

We want to thank everyone who donated or came to help!! Thank you to our parents, Rebecca, Brittany, Lexi, Anna Kate, David, Dawn, Emily, and Sammy. We appreciate all of your help with our sale. it definitely could not have been done without you.

This coming weekend we are attending a Grace Life Conference which we are both really excited about. Ty has gone once, but it's my first time.

Going forward our prayer requests right now are for rest and rejuvenation for this coming weekend, and the ability to remain mentally where we are right now. It is so tempting to begin to think about all we will be doing next year, instead of understanding what God is doing through us right now. It's so amazing what God has brought to my attention since we decided to go on this trip. Early on, I realized that I was so excited about meeting the needs of people in other countries, but I wasn't being intentional here. Everywhere we are and everything we do has the ability to glorify God; all we have to do is be aware. I encourage all of you to stay aware of the life around you. Be aware of the people at work, that you pass on the street, and the wait staff at a restaurant; each of these people have stories, their own life, and needs. Each one has a need for God. We truly hope that we can encourage all of you to reach out to your world.

Your brother and sister in Christ.
