David and Sheena
These two amazing people are some of my closets friends. I met Sheena in 6th grade. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. David is probably the most talented and sincerce guys I have ever met. In 2007 Sheena and Dave got married. The following year Dave started having pains in his chest. Went to the doctors and after many test they found a mass in his chest. The mass was identified as lymphoepithelial-like thymic carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. He was only 25. But even after all this he continued on as the youth pastor.
Just two years later on November 18, 2010 Pastor David Capps went to be the Lord. He was only 27. My heart is breaking for Sheena and their daughter Sydney, who is 1yrs old, but I know God is in control and through this hard time He will be glorified!! Pastor David will be missed but he left this world with such strength and love for his Father! He never doubted God and was such an inspiration to everyone he came in contacted with. He truly was a world changer!!! Please keep the Capps family in your prayers.
