What do I say about my first week? Well, first, I am in paradise. Didn’t realize I would be sleeping in my hammock all week outside in the jungles of the Dominican Republic. I’ll admit I still look and expect to see whitetail deer running everywhere. Second, My hosts are amazing. They cook all the food for us and try to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. They are some of the most welcoming people I have ever met. Third, I have been able to work with some of the youth here and just this morning quite a few guys accepted Jesus as their savior! It was amazing. God has been moving in the hearts of these kids! It has been a great first week! I know hard times are coming but I know we can get through them. prayer for these kids as we hang with them thee next couple days. Pray their hearts will be softened and that the word will penetrate through their walls! Also, prayers for my fundraising! I am so close to my next deadline! I do not want to go home early and miss sharing the gospel! Thank you all so much who have supported me! I am sorry if I didn’t say thank you! I tried very hard not to forget anyone!
