Hi! Thank you for visiting my About Me page and taking the time to read it! Don’t worry I’ll make it short, but when you’re done, please feel free to donate to my Race as well!

I’m Tristyn Begley and I’m currently a 17-year-old, completing my senior year at a technical school, Butler Tech. At Butler Tech I am studying criminal justice and also taking college courses, through Sinclair Community College.

Additional with school, I maintain a job at Chick-fil-a and I faithfully attend and serve at my church, Princeton Pike Church of God.

I’ve worked at Chick-fil-a for almost a year now, and a lot of people cannot say this but, I absolutely love my job. Who would’ve thought working with chicken could be so great! Chick-fil-a had been a great way for me learn responsibility, customer service, and how to keep a positive attitude about all things, not only work related but also in my daily life.

Princeton Pike was the first church I had ever attended. My mother started going their when she was my age, 17. Once her and my dad were married, he began attending as well. I met my very first friend at Princeton Pike. I accepted Jesus into my life at this church and was also baptized there as well. Throughout the first 17 years of my life, this church has impacted me in so many different ways. The most valuable lesson I learned from attending Princeton Pike, is the impact you make when you serve others.

At a young age I started serving in my community by providing meals and groceries to people in need. I’ve done this for as long as I can remember. It has always been something I’ve loved to be a part of. Being able to help others and seeing their faces, is an incredible feeling.  It’s why I continue to serve and why I seek many opportunities to serve. Doing things for others, making an impact, and receiving joy from it is such a blessing within itself.

Hebrews 6:10 says “God is unjust; he will not forget you work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Everything I do is for God. I have always prayed for God to open up door of opportunity for me to serve him by serving others.

I have attached a couple photos, so you can learn a little MORE about me!

Here is a recent photo of my family and I.

This was taken at the airport when my mom and dad were dropping me off for my internship in Haiti! (I’ll post a later blog about my internship and my experience spending part of my summer there!)
