Sometimes, I’m as human as I can possibly be. I fail. I lose faith. I don’t believe.

But this week, I was reminded in huge ways:

God’s got this.

Last Friday, I a little less than $2,000 short of my fundraising goal. By the grace of God, I was given the weekend to continue fundraising, but after many phone calls and lots of meetings, I still needed about $1,000. As I told you guys on Tuesday, I had given up. I began to question how God could let this happen, when it had seemed so clear to me that He wanted me to go on the Race

Lucky for me, that’s when God reminded me that He can do anything, and will do anything, but in His time, not mine. With the help of some of my lovely squadmates, my amazing mom, the greatest family and friends a girl can ask for, and an ever-faithful God, I can officially say I’ve made it.

I have been so stressed out trying to balance fundraising, finishing my master’s, dealing with my uncle’s death, and quitting my jobs. All on top of just being a normal 25 year old trying to figure out life.

But I have been reminded in the most amazing way, that I am, and have always been, way too blessed to be stressed.

A week from today, I’ll be heading to Atlanta to join my team and my squad for a couple more days of training before we head to Haiti. I am beyond grateful for the chance that God is giving me to take this journey with Him.

And to all of you: thank you. God called you to support me, but as we all know, it’s not always easy to answer God’s call. I am so blessed to have so many amazing people willing to give to this journey that I’m going on with God.

So today I am asking one thing of you: be thankful. Revel in the gifts that you’ve been given. And if there’s something that you really need, ask for it. God works miracles

You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. -Psalm 77:14
