Make a joyful noise to the Lord , all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord , he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100 esv
Hey friends,
Through this blog post I just want to speak of Gods goodness in my life.
He is worthy of all the glory and all the praise. Without Him I am nothing. He is my strength, my source of life, my comforter, my provider. He leads me to green pastures, he carries me through every hill and valley.
He teaches me. He rebukes me.
He is rich in love and slow to anger.
He opens my eyes to see, and my ears to hear.
When i’m hungry, He feeds me. When i’m tired, He gives me rest.
When i’m proud, he humbles me. When i’m humbled, he exalts me.
When I stumble, He picks me up. When He picks me up, I soar on eagles wings!
For 20 years I lived without a relationship with my Creator. For 20 years I wandered aimlessly amongst the earth, not knowing why I was here or where I was going. I was enjoying all the gifts of life, but missing the Giver of life.
Now that I have found Him. I cannot help but praise Him and rejoice in His grace and mercy. He has not condemned me. He has forgiven me and redeemed me from my wicked ways. He gave His life to win me back. Now He asks me to give my life to win others back. (Luke 9)
How should I respond to such a high and honoring call? With joy in my heart and praise on my lips! By picking up my cross and following Him daily. By loving Him and loving my neighbour as myself. By bringing His kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven!
I leave you with this question. Are you aware of Gods grace and mercy in your life. If you answer “yes”, then how does your life reflect it? If you answer “no”, then …. start praying 🙂
Thanks for tuning in!
