Hey friends,
I’ve been in Tbilisi for a week now. I’ve had the privilege to connect with three different church bodies. God is at work here and I’m honored/excited to be a part of it.
Check out these videos for a short explanation of “Orthodox Christianity”, the dominant faith in this country. I also attached a link with some information on the country and the faith. The second video is a word of caution that was on my heart in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Lord God is faithful. His steadfast love endures forever. Those who trust in Him will not be put to shame.
Grace and peace be with you.

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16 ESV
But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is heaven. Matthew 23:8-9
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. Matthew 7:15-20 ESV
