Hey friends,
I apologise for the delayed update. Our time in India has come to an end. We arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal 7 days ago and are enjoying the cooler temperatures, the mountains, and the percs of being in a backpackers hot-spot (wifi, apple pie, & so much more)!
To summarize our final two weeks of India;
We had the privilege of spending our time in the famous city of Kolkata which is located in the state of West Bengal.
Kolkata was a blessing to experience. All the pre conceived thoughts/notions of a filthy, over populated city were quickly brought to justice by the realisation of Gods mighty hand at work in that place and the beauty that is found in the midst of many lost souls.
It was very encouraging to see the impact that the church of God was having in Kolkata and how small pockets of believers were rising up to bring salvation to this massive epicentre of people.
During our time there, most of my time and ministry was geared towards the university that was down the road from where we were staying. Within the 1st day of being in Kolkata, God opened the doors for Connor and I to go and minister at the university, connecting with individuals, sharing the gospel, praying for healing etc.
Through this ministry, it allowed us to get connected to many other believers and fellowship groups throughout the region that we got to encourage and equip for furthering the kingdom of God in India.
Attached are a few videos that will give you a brief idea of what our time/ministry in Kolkata looked like.
This journey with Jesus has been amazing and very life giving. I thank God every day for redeeming me from the emptiness of this broken world and setting me on the path that leads to life.
I also thank you (my supporters) for sending me on this journey and keeping our team and I in your thoughts/prayers. May the will of the Father be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
