Most of us come to LAUNCH with EXPECTATIONS. Yes, we got the memo at training camp, no expectations. However, to be completely honest we all have them. The important thing is how we react when our expectations our blown up. What is our reaction when we dont get our way? Do we act like two year olds and throw a temper tantrum or do we act like the men and women of God that we are and trust in the will of our father?

With all of that being said, I came to Launch expecting more teaching.

I was not however prepared for God to SCHOOL me so quickly!!!
Yes, I got schooled by my papa. He quickly taught me what it ment to prefer and honor people. Even those who are not world racers, world race alumni, or adventures staff.

The lesson began with a snack run that turned into chillin with a team mate at O'Malleys while we got some grub & ended with a waitress who, lets just say, did not meet my standard of how a hospitality worker should, umm.. work!
I was a little frustrated with the service provided, and decided to converse about it as we walked to our room. Only to feel like a jerk when we turned around and saw a O'Malleys worker walking behind us. Which then led to conviction.

I were a very poor representations of Christ in that moment, and instead of choosing to LOVE, I choose to gossip!

Then God sweetly reminded me of the standard he has set before us and how we have to be intentional with our every encounter. Yes I failed life application day 1 of the world race & God schooled me for it. We walk and we fail, God teaches us, and we get back up and try again.

So heres to day 2!
