‘About Me’ sections are always awkward. It’s weird to write things about yourself. So after much debate, I decided to honor the 11 in 11 concept and added them together to make 22 fun facts about myself!
1. I am 25 years old.
2. Born and raised in NC.
3. I have a Taylor guitar and his name is Toby (don’t judge).
4. My life verse is Joshua 1:9.
5. I really love handwritten notes/cards/letters.
6. With that said, I have at least 7 memory boxes filled with notes and letters from my friends and family (we’re talking even crumpled up notes from 6th grade).
7. I am a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and I love the UGA bulldogs!
8. One year I asked God for a sign of his love for me (basically something that shows up when I need to be reminded he loves me). My God sign is thunderstorms. LOVE them!
9. There are two things I am obsessed with, sharks and tornadoes. I am not ashamed to admit I watch shark week every year and may or may not own a few seasons on DVD. I was beyond stoked this year when I caught my first baby shark! When it comes to tornadoes, they have been my favorite since I first saw the movie Twister. I would love to storm chase some day!
10. I feel closest to God when I am worshiping him through music. My favorite worship bands are Hillsong (all of them), Bethel, Elevation, and Kari Jobe.
11. I am really athletic, but somehow incredibly clumsy at the same time. I’m that person that runs into doorways pretty regularly.
12. I have two tattoos and about 5 in the planning stage.
13. I am pretty sarcastic, but I’m also goofy and love to have fun.
14. Dark chocolate is my favorite.
15. My Starbucks drink of choice is either a dark roast red eye or chai tea latte.
16. I have a yorkie named Rascal, but I call him JuJu. He’s the best roommate I could ask for.
17. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a psychology degree and a minor in sociology.
18. I went on my first missions trip in the 7th grade to Guatemala. I have gone back almost every year since and now have the honor of leading teams through a non-profit called Caroline’s Promise.
19. I am a closet nerd (you know, someone who is a nerd but you wouldn’t really guess it). I play video games, watch TED conferences and know a ridiculous amount of fun facts about random things.
20. My favorite color is pink.
21. Over the last couple of years the Lord has really opened my eyes and heart to human trafficking. I will fight to see it end.
22. Reality TV is my guilty pleasure…it makes me feel like I have a slightly normal life
