So sometimes I have to take a break from the serious, thoughtful blogs and just tell something that made me laugh this week. So Tiffany and I get stuck in a rainstorm and we have to take a tuk-tuk (a carriage attached to a motorbike that is the local spin on the taxi concept).

Tuk tuk, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

As we drive through the monsoon, something jumps out in the road and catches my eye. I realize it’s a man dancing in the rain. Then I see him bend down, pick something up and throw in a truck, followed by him doing a dance. As we get closer I realize it’s the garbage man…in his underwear. He is leaping and doing pirouettes through the streets in his tighty-whities as he picks up the garbage and throw it in the truck. Just picture the garbage man dancing and laughing down the street in his underwear… or maybe don’t :). Once again, I am reminded I’m not sure what normal is anymore. So I’ve decided I just need to start documenting these reality checks I get these days. I’m sure there will be more.
