This morning Andrew and I were talking on the phone and praying for creativity for the squad. When we finished, I walked back into the church where Team Spare Ribs was working. Cassie Flett, an amazing woman of God on our squad, was super excited and said that she had an idea of how our squad could go deeper this month. mmmm I LOVE how God works. She’s had it on her heart to do an overnight prayer session with the squad, so we’re going to go for it. We are so excited and Cassie was running through the church doing dance moves when she finished writing down her idea. Here’s what God put on her heart:

1 Corinthians 4:20

“For the kingdom of God is not fancy talk but its living by Gods Power”

You have heard this before and you are going to hear it again and again.

GOD CALLS US TO DO GREATER THINGS, HE PROMISED US WE WOULD DO GREATER THINGS.

For me personally, not only do I want to walk into that promise, I want to run into it full force. It will be a Beautiful Collison. In the words of David crowder Band.

I came here for something more and I’ve heard the word “more” so many times within this squad.

I came here to grow MORE deeper and deeper with God

To know His word MORE & MORE

MORE of His love

I truly believe we all came here in search for something MORE

So let’s run after it like we never have before.
I can’t keep God in this box that I’ve had Him in.

James 2: 17

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

Its time to take action and step into what God has for us.

 
So this is what it looks like:

Starting Monday the 10th at 12:00am the prayer will begin- everyone on the squad will get two power hours of prayer.I guess you can call it a prayer chain, so for 48 hours there will be none stop prayer. It will end on Tuesday the 11th@ 11:59:59 pm. At home- that will be starting Sunday the 9th @ 4:00 pm. and going until Tuesday the 11th @ 3:59 p.m. We want to invite you to pray alongside us those two days.

During the two days of prayer, many of us will be fasting as well. Whether that looks like full fast, a liquid fast, a partial fast or just giving up your ipod for two days, I encourage you to participate. No pressure- don’t feel like you have to, it’s between you and God.

Here’s some of what we’ll be praying for:
*Freedom over the Q

*Encountering God

*Finding our identities in Christ

*Walking into our Inheritance

*Stepping into the annointing God has given us

Where ever the Spirit leads.
 
Once again, it is just an invite to join us in seeking what God has for us. We want to go deeper and we want this squad to experience more of God and we want to have as many people praying for that as possible.
