Hello everyone! Welcome to the second edition of Trey’s blog.  I hope you all enjoyed the first post.  Sorry that there are no pics:( There will be soon once I catch up with technology hahahaha.  Well, alot has happened in trhe past week!  It is so exciting!  Sometimes I’ll just stop what I am doing andsay to myself “Wow, Im in Thailand!”  It still blows me away and will until the day we leave.
For a couple of days last week we did some semi-intensive labor at an elementary school.  It was very fulfilling.  We dug up and relocated a whole playground which was an interesting task.  We also dug up a beast scorpion!! Most definitely the biggest one i have ever seen in real life!  That ws a highlight! Ah the simple things haha.  So we moved the playground some of the girls repainted the playground equipment and the equip looks sparkling new!  The other girls painted the bug outhouse with beautiful yellow stripes.  Kudos to them!! YYYEEEEAAAA!!! We also did some cement work and laid down tiles around the outhouse.  that was a fun experience because none of us knew how to tile, but wingin it seemed to work out very well.  I filled in some incredibly huge potholes with dirt around the road inside the school.  I mean these potholes were monsters maaaaaannnn!!!  I had a hoe and a bucket, but i was incredibly at peace because God was with us and he was blessing the school through us! How awesome is our God? AWWWWWEEESSSOOOOOMMMMEEEE!!!
During the weekend we hung around the orphanage with the little chillins and had a blast.  On Sunday we attended the church and had a second round worship session with the team and..oh yea…the ukulele! hahaha it was alot smoother than the first week, but all that mattered was we were worshipping our Lord.
So here is the big news!!! ARE YOU REEEAAADDDDYYYYY???? We went to an elementary/middle school down the road from the orphanage and taught kids english!!!!!!!!! SAY WHHAAAATTT!!! yea it was sick! One of the most incredible experiences of my life!  I taught a class of sixth graders by myself!  The teacher handed me the workbook that all the students had and told me what to do and left me to teach.  Talk about all time most nervous moments, too! hahaha  It was awesome though!  There are a couple of star students in there who speak English fairly well, but with the language barrier it was very difficult to explain what some things meant in english and why they meant that.  Everyone in the class was great natured yet hard to reign in some of the time.  I tried to teach them a little about surfing too haha! They didnt catch on though!  I do have all week to teach them so they will catch on about surfing really soon!  I might even secretly teach them surfer slang as a bonus lesson (dont tell the teacher) hahahaha just kidding.
We are so blessed to be working here in Buriram, Thailand!  We are leading people to Christ by example, the best way.  I thank God that he hand picked me and my squad mates.  I sometimes forget here and even at home that i owe it all to him. His gracious nature is the reason I am alive today and God is the reason I am in Thailand.  We are here to spread his glorious word and i am so blown away that he chose me.  So i ask for prayers on focusing on God and prayers against laziness.  Thank you all for reading my second post I hope you enjoyed it.  Also i would love feedback on how to make my blogging better!  Thank you all for your support and prayers they are being heard!  i love all of you! God Bless!
