Hello Family and Friends,
It
is my pleasure to share with you what God is doing in my life. This past summer
I participated in a mission trip to Costa Rica. It was an incredible and life changing experience and I have
felt God calling me to go into the mission field full time. Pursuing that
calling, I applied and was accepted to the World Race, which is an eleven-month/eleven
country mission trip. We are
scheduled to leave in January 2011.
It
is my greatest desire to share the light, hope, joy, and salvation of Jesus Christ.
On this trip I will be trained in various areas of ministry and missions. God,
my team and I will be fighting human trafficking, teaching English, feeding the
hungry, building churches, caring for the homeless, and much more. We will be doing these things in India,
Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Mozambique, Swaziland, South Africa,
Romania, Moldova, and Cambodia! It will be an incredible experience.
I
thank God for this opportunity and I trust he will meet my needs. I will be
selling all my belongings as well as saving money from my job, yet I still need
to raise considerable funds. I must raise an additional $6,000 (!), which will
cover my expenses while in the field for the eleven months. I would be honored
