Our ministry is mainly working with kids at carepoints during the week. It regularly consists of holding kids and playing with them all day. It gets kinda old playing with them non stop and picking some of them up who don’t even have underwear. It really does.
This past week, the lord reminded me of a lot of things and gave me so much joy. He reminded me that a lot of these kids don’t have fathers, mothers, siblings, clothes, homes and some have no family. He also reminded me that I have the privilege to show all of the kids what a man of christ looks like and what a father or brother is like. The simple fact that a lot of kids don’t have a father in there life that love them or show them enough love, makes my heart ache for them. I spent the whole week showing them love and telling them that God is their father and that he loves them more than anyone ever could.
It was so amazing to do this all week. I can’t express my happiness and love for these kids. No words could ever describe it. Through all of this, I received so much joy from the kids and the Lord. The Lord showed me what happiness is and that the happiness that I have been experiencing, isn’t just a week long thing. It is a life long thing! I want to walk in joy every day, and find joy in every situation. Even in the hard ones.
I want to challenge anyone who is reading this with these 3 questions!
1. What is happiness?
2. Am I walking in happiness?
3. How can I show happiness to others?

P.S. ( It’s no shave November and I haven’t shaved in 2 and 1/2 weeks. That explains the Star Wars reference in the Title. Haha.)
