After our long day in Bangkok (see previous blog) we had to leave to head up to Chiang Mai by train. We arrived at the train station at 5:30 and we didn't board the train until 7:20 so we had some time to kill. After eating at KFC I went back to where we dropped our gear and grabbed my camera. The train station looked so cool and somewhat historic so I wanted to try to get some good shots. I don't usually do black and white photos, but it just looked so good for this set of photos.

View from where we dropped our bags. I love doing these wide photos every once in a while.

I also like doing some motion blur photography. I captured this train as it was departing the station

This woman was cleaning something in the middle of the tracks. Also, the train in the background was moving but I caught it just as it was coming to a stop so not much motion blur there. All my photos are hand held so it makes it harder to do motion blur photos

Platform 5. I think that's what is says…

Our hangout for about 2 hours.

This was inside the station where most of the people waited for their train.
