I really slacked off on the blogs in Malaysia, so I really want to try to catch you up on what happened. We had a variety of ministries this month…

Feeding Ministry – Just a few blocks from where we stayed there was an area where people came together to feed and take care of the homeless and really just any people who were in need. So once a week they would have a place to come and talk to us and others about anything.

Prostitution Ministry – Very intense ministry, especially for the ladies on the team. It was their job to talk to the girls and start to make friends and then later have a follow up dinner or just some sort of meeting to deep onto conversation. Most of the time we went out we took a train ride several kilometers away, but in this picture above it was only a few blocks away. Just 10 minutes walk from where we stayed.

College Campus Ministry – A church near this campus is trying to bring in some of the college students. Since the government wont allow any type of christian club of any type, a near by church is the only way to get connected. So we went into this college campus and made some new friends.

Jungle Ministry – A nice long train ride and another hours drive was Orang Asli jungle. We went to 7 different places over 3 days to preach and lead worship. It was amazing to go to so many different villages and see the different dynamics of the people.

Orphanage – This is all about the kids. We played games, sang fun songs, had some good interactive lessons, and it was so much fun!
And so much more…

But the best part of Malaysia is our contacts Peter and Carol. They were absolutely amazing! We had sleep overs and pool parties and dinners and durian. It was so much fun. But they also dove in to us deeply and helped us through so much. They helped us as individuals and as a team. They helped us grow closer to each other and to God. They went out of their comfort zone to bring up things that wouldnÕt normally be brought up by contacts. We were so blessed to have them for our contacts this month.

We love you Peter and Carol!
