Last weekend I had a chance to go to an awesome event called Help-Portrait. In case you don't know about it, it's a non-profit organization that gives to the unfortunate communities around the world! And what they give is photos. Around the world, thousands of photographers come together in cities take portraits of people who can't typically afford to get their photo taken. They get to have makeup artists, hair stylists, nails, clothes, everything! Then they go get their pictures taken and pick the one they like. Then right on the spot they get the print! It's amazing!

But it's more than just a picture. For most of these people they have never had a proper picture taken of them. They say they have never seen themselves look so beautiful in their entire lives. It's a point in time where they are now the movie star or the musician. They are now in the spot light and they are loved. It's absolutely amazing to experience the joy in that place when this is all going on. Laughter and tears and smiles all day long! It's truly an event like I had never sen before and can't wait to see how it grows over the years.

And the photos begin! Once the makeup and styling is finished, we move them on over to a studio to have their picture taken.

After the pictures are taken we bring them to a room where they  can view them all and pick the ones they like the most and print them out on the spot.

Big thanks to Chick-fil-A for their great sandwiches. And they brought the spicy sandwiches too! My favorite!

Help-Portrait Central Florida was a huge success this year! Can't wait to go do it again next year!
