The World Race has changed my life, changed my perspective and changed me. This experience has made me grow in ways that I've always longed for. God has blessed the past nine months of me being on the field and blessed my decision to follow his will. I would never take back this experience and I will be forever grateful.
It's crazy how I am fundraising $14,400 to go on a mission trip one day and the next I am living out my dream. Well, I am here to announce that my time is almost up on the World Race. Only 2 1/2 months left and I'll be back seeing my friends and family.
The problem is, I no longer have any money to buy the plane ticket home. Money flies on the mission field when you have no income. I have had to buy more food and transportation than expected. I've also had issues here and there in which have costed alot money than I had in my budget. For these reasons, I have to yet again ask for help.
We have not been told the day and time of our arrival, but I have looked into the tickets for August 30th and I expect the ticket will be around $300 dollars. To donate money, please send a check to my mom under my mom's name, she will cash the check and put the money in my account. To quickly update you on my current life, we are safe in Uganda. We live in an amazing house with beds, but without water and electricity. It is a sweet time being around candle light and spending time with the team though. We are working with an orphanage/school that houses and teaches 650 precious children. God is so good and is providing for these kids. We are preaching at crusades as well which always a new experience for me. I am still very excited to see what God has left in store for us with the next two and a half months!
