On July 3rd, an adventure begins that I’ve been so excited for. My team of girls aged 17-21 seem to be just as ready. I am so encouraged by their determination for fundraising, selling shirts, encouraging each other and listening to what the Lord has for them. Guatemala will have awesome adventures, lessons, and personal changes for many or all of them and I am so excited for this to happen for them. More than anything, I am excited for Jesus to up and show off. This is an adventure for me, but it’s more of a calling to serve them. I want to be God’s hands and feet, and if that means sacrificing my summer, prolonging the start of my career and putting my personal life on hold for a bit in order to touch the lives of these awesome young adults, that’s what I will do. I say yes to the Lord’s calling and I say yes to the sacrifices. Thank you for being a part of these people’s lives, the lives of the people of Guatemala, and my life as you faithfully donate to my trip!
